In Cory’s youth, he participated in baseball, hockey, swimming, football, cross country running, track and field, and badminton. He began sport specific weight training in the gym at age 15, and then took baseball to the next level playing CIS in Lethbridge, Alberta, NCAA in Bismarck, North Dakota, and Semi Professional for the Regina Red Sox in Saskatchewan.
While playing baseball, he attended university for 5 years concentrating in exercise science, psychology, and coaching. He then worked in a mental health treatment agency for 2 years, and thereafter worked in an integrated health centre as the Health Coach and Personal Trainer under the Functional Medicine approach. There, he worked in collaboration with the applied kinesiologist, naturopathic doctor, and chiropractors with the patients in prevention and management of chronic illness and disease.
He has now taken his knowledge and skills in sports, training, and functional medicine to Toronto, health coaching and personal training, along with acting, fitness modelling, and, as hobbies, enjoys bodybuilding and music festivals.
