Dana's fitness journey began with strength and agility training to improve her personal athletic performance. In school, she competed in volleyball, soccer, and track and field. She also found an intense love of beach volleyball, a sport which she continues to train for and regularly competes. Dana decided to pursue health sciences and graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology, and continued her education by completing a Master of Science degree in Epidemiology at Queen's University. It is no surprise that she went on to explore exercise science and nutrition, and obtained her personal training certification.
Dana views exercise and movement as an essential part of life and enjoys regular physical activities such as cycling, running and weight lifting. She brings this enthusiasm to each and every training session with her clients and gains immense satisfaction from helping them achieve their fitness goals and guiding them in the adoption of lifelong healthy behaviours. With her academic background in science and her experiences as an athlete, Dana researches and designs effective, individualized programs for each of her clients. As a client of Dana, prepare to experience an infectious positive attitude toward health and fitness!
