Dana Al-Bargash is a certified Personal Trainer with a background in science. Her fitness journey began with strength and agility training to improve her athletic performance. In school she competed on the volleyball, soccer and track & field teams. After school she fell in love with beach volleyball, a sport she continues to train for and compete in regularly. Dana graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology, and continued her education by completing a Master of Science degree in Epidemiology at Queen’s University. She then went on to explore exercise science and nutrition, and attained her personal training designation.
Exercise is not just a hobby that she enjoys; it is an essential part
of her life. From cycling and running to weight lifting at the gym,
she loves health, fitness and everything to do with human physiology. She brings this enthusiasm to each and every one of her clients. While she has a successful career in Public Health, she loves Personal Training because of the satisfaction she gets from helping others achieve their fitness goals and adopting healthy lifestyles.
Dana’s training as a scientist and athlete, enable her to research the most effective individualized programs for her clients. Her positive attitude and friendly demeanour make each session with her fun, energetic and challenging.
